Our hut is a short stroll to the Chainbridge hotel (or 2mins drive), where you can relax, drink and eat overlooking the river Dee and the Berwyn station, then follow the canal all the way to Llangollen town. On this picturesque walk, you'll take the canal past a delightful cafe stop, till you meet the Llangollen Wharf, where you can take the canal barge to the Aqueduct or stop for a drink before exploring the town.
Llangollen offers many activities to send you down the canal or the Dee. Take the canal on a horse drawn trip or across the Aqueduct from the LLangollen Wharf or go to one of the many activity experiences such as Bearded Men Adventures to hire a canoe, bike or white whater raft the Dee.

The longboat tour over the world famous Aqueduct is a must for all visitors. Leaving from either LLangollen Wharf or Froncysylite, tours take you on a 2hr trip, complete with bar or a cream tea option, tours include a coach return to either start location.
